Yes, yes, the author of this blog is the big 3-4 today and I couldn't be more excited! I love getting older. I think it's sexy, charming, wonderful, enlightening, smart and most glorious getting older. I wouldn't trade being twenty for thirty-four for almost anything. (Please note I said almost anything.)At thirty-four I have three fantastic children, a super husband, a great home with a hefty mortgage (ugh) a mini van (double ugh) and a life style I only dreamed of as a child. I guess I could say I'm officially a grown up. Wow. How did THAT happen?
So, this year I vow to make my small green print on the world by continuing to teach my children the importance of recycling, to save energy and their money, and to bring joy to each and every person I meet (I've been told I'm always such a happy person--I love that). Yup, Oprah has definitely been a HUGE influence on me. I love her.
One final note, today my family travels west across our nation's beautiful country to see my family in Iowa. Please pray for safe travels, reliable transportation and that Ella and Evan don't fight too much. Please and thank you.
